Can I swap the factory radios between a 2001 an 2002 I30/I35?

The 2002 I35 has a 6-CD changer, which negates all iPod adpaters I know of...I'd like to swap out the radio in my 2002 with a radio from a 2000/2001.

Does anyone know if these radios can be swapped physically and electrically?

Physically it shouldn't be a problem....the '00-'01 radio only has a single CD changer and you lose the RDS system. I wonder if the reverse swap works too, I'd love to have a 6-disc in-dash changer and RDS in addition to the 6-disc changer I already have in the trunk of my '01 I30.

I'm fairly sure they can be swapped out both ways. at least for the maxima it could from the 01 to the 02 or vice versa. The only thing is that in the 02 radio you lose the volume up at higher speeds function when you put one in an 01.
