Can i swap ECUs?

Well i have a quick question that i couldn't find a definitive answer for when i tried researching. Here it goes, my friend has E5 ecu from his early blacktop sr that is tuned for gt2871r, larger injectors, z32 maf but he hasn't finished his car yet and wants to just get some money and swap everything back to stock on his motor, so i have a redtop sr with a code 62 ecu and stock turbo injectors etc, would it be possible me to install the mods on my motor and run the E5 ecu on my redtop motor and redtop harness and for him to run the 62 on his with stick components? Is there anything we would have to do about the different types of O2 sensors? can i still run the skinny o2 with the E5 ecu? I just needed a real answer before i start disassembling everything Thanks a lot.

Yea you can swap ECU's...dont understand what ur saying about O2 sensor though....SR's are big o2 sensors and the skinny one is a KA

HAHAHA ummmmm No...

RedTop SR's Have Skinny O2 Sensors, S13 & 14 Black Top SR's have Fat O2 Sensors

The ECU pin out is a little differnt it can be re pinned OR you can just swap the wire harness with the ECU and stuff.

Mechainically the S13 R/T and B/T SR are exactly the same

Unless its a Kouki Type X Engine then the Cams are slightly more agressive and not sure if it would affect AFR's
