I have a s1 rb25 complete swap running in my car. I plan on rebuilding the head and block. I found a cheap rb25 s2 long block. I was jw if I can run that long block on all the s1 eletical stuff.

On the other hand I am confused with this research that I am not sure. "there is also a difference in the CAS, S1 runs the star drive with the half moon in the centre, S2 runs a master spline(no half moon)."

So does that mean I need to changed the exhaust cams inorder to run that longblock?

The long block will be coming with the complete intake manifold with injectors, rail, throttle body, tps, Inc. and a 15 days warranty after purchase. Can I fire up the motor with the intake manifold with my turbo setup? Plus what will be a good compression number for a health motor? If everything goes out good I will be buying the motor in 2 days. Please give me much feedback as if possible.

The coil packs are different, connector wise and function wise. S1 uses an inline igniter like the SR20's and S2 does not. S1 has the brown connectors on the coil packs and the S2 has the gray ones.

The S2 requires an FICD and the S1 doesn't. But thats only for the A/C, it bumps the idle when the A/C relay cuts on.

If you has S1 coil packs and igniter this would work fine for you.

You should just get our engine harness and we will make it all work together =)
