I been hearing that you can do it...but you have to put an 1/8 of E85 at a time to wean out the regular petrol...is that true? has anyone done it?

its possible but you have to switch your intake manifold, bigger injectors, a map switch from ethanol to gas just in case theres no E85 stations around, upgraded fuel pump, and a ecu tune. ive already done research on this in the past and it will gain about 15 to 20 hp(non turbo) 30 to 35 (turbo charged). the downside is that if youre in the area that dosent sell E85 then theres no point in doing this. another thing is that when you have E85 gas in your gas tank, your car may not turn on if the weather is lower than 65 degrees f.

It has nothing to do with weaning your car on the ethanol. E85 will slowly corrode your gas tank and fuel lines, it burns cleaner, hotter, and quicker which our engines are not designed for, and while it does give you more horsepower, it will eat away at all of the internals of the vehicle.

Vehciles that are designed to be E85 compatable have upgraded fuel lines, gas tanks and internals that can handle the heat and corrosiveness of ethanol.

So I the A/C capable of runnning E85....or do you have to repalce all the parts like the guy said above? I know what e85 can do and what it does to your fule lines and all but does Nissan allow their cars run on E85 on stock internals? Because the Nissan Titan can with out changing the internals on the petrol engine and I'm not talking about the fulfex Titan.

E85 will not work without modifications. It will do damage and probably void your warranty.

^^ Finally someone who actually took the time to open it. I don't even own an AC but I've read it....

x1000000 on what everyone has said about corrosiveness and temperature.
