Hey guys, I have a 1995 Nissan 240sx. Its a KA-T. and i have been trying to get it to run with a megasquirt. I have been unsuccesful in doing so, so i have decided to go another route and just do a reflash of the ecu. The car is an OBD2, but i am wondering if i can just pick up a dohc obd 1 harness and ecu? I live in michigan so emission laws are not a factor.

thanks for your help.

I got MS running, as have a few other Ka guys on this forum. Whats the problem your having with it?

But yea, you can run an OBD1 harness you just have to change out a few sensors or clips/plugs + pigtails.

I actually have been trying to get the car running for about a year with no luck. I probably dedicated the time it needs though. Right now I am not getting a tach signal. The car will sometimes barely idle. Im honestly just fed up with it and just want something simple and easy to get it up and running.

Just so you know what im working with, Its a MS3 board with the Ford EDIS ignition setup.
