Can I run 245/40/19 on the front and 245/35/19 in the back for my sedan?

The reason is that I want a little bit cushion on the front because I've already damaged the one rim. Thanks..

I'd go 245/40/19's all around if possible - if you have vdc, the different tire sizes may cause issues. Also if you're running directional tires, you'd be able to rotate them without losing any comfort. And just for aesthetic reasons, it may look weird with tires that are an inch smaller in diameter on the rear.
