Can I run 245/35/19 in front, 245/40/19 in rear with 40mm offset??? Please help

Hello,

Sorry if this question has been asked before..

I have ASA AR2 wheel 19 x 8.5 40mm offset...currently have 245/35/19 tires on my altima sedan.

I'm planning to trade my altima to get an used 08 350Z, but I will to keep the wheels and plan to used them on the new Z.

I know I can run 245/35/19 for the front, but can I still run the same setup in the rear? I know the Z has staggered setup.

I'm planning to run 245/35/19 on front and 245/40/19 rear to match Z spec...

But with 40mm offset, are the wheels going to cause any affect to the Z?

or can I run

Front: 245/35/19Rear: 275/35/19 with 19x8.5 w/ 40mm offset (if it is possible)

u plan on getting the nismo right sell those rims on ur altima 8.5 in the rear is a no go.keep the stocks

Sell the Altima with the wheels you dont want 8.5 wheels in the rear on any Z and 245/40/19 are not spec. Get rid of the whole mess. If you want staggered try this: This is Grand Touring and Track v.2 specs:

Front Size: 18x9.0 Offset: +30mm Tire: 245/40/18

Rear Size: 19x10.0 Offset: +30mm Tire: 265/35/19

Yep...definitely sell the wheels...the offsets are way off!

Here's my offset rule of thumb for 19's...Front offsets +15 to +20 onlyRear offsets +20 to +25 only
