Hello,

One of members made a tire size chart for the Rogue listing all the possible tire sizes. You can find the link in the Official Rogue FAQ under FAQ's => Wheel and Tire Fitment Chart.

Here is the direct link to the chart to save you some time:

Note: The chart has a mistake, 235/50R18 is shown but it should be 235/55R18.

The 235/50R18 tire you are looking at is actually too small in diameter. To keep the same diameter, your choices would be:

225/55R18235/55R18245/50R18

Good luck on your tire selection!

yea but the chart is based on +40mm offset and the rims i will be running are off of a 03 murano 18x7.5 and its +35mm. do you think that 5mm will make a difference to where i cant run those size?

235/50R18 is one of the recommended sizes. You should be fine.

I don't think it will be a problem. The Rogue has lots of tire clearance.

One of our members Eddnog has already fitted his Rogue with 245/45-19 tires using Privat Zentralle 19x8 +40 offset and he had no fitment issues. This is the largest tire fitment I've seen for the Rogue yet:

The +35 offset Murano wheels will be pushed out another 5mm over stock giving you even more tire clearance. You should be able to do up to a 245 width tire easily.

If you are concerned, have the shop try mounting and test fitting one of the tires first.

235/50-18 is not too small, it will fit and will work fine, I highly recommend it! The overall diameter will be 1.37% smaller which is very acceptable. Because of this when u r travelling 100km/h your speedo will read 101kmh, this is okay and keeps your speed down a bit. Also tire selection for this size is great and the sidewall is almost as thin as 245/45-19's, u get a great look and good prices on tires and cheaper wheels (comparing the cost of 18 vs 19).

235/55-18 is a different story and I do not recommend going with them, the overall diameter is 2% larger. This means taller and uglier sidewalks, also this will throw off your speedo in a bad way. When u r travelling at 100km/h your speedo will read only 98kmh causing u to speed more frequently. I believe that Ed's chart is correct and he didn't list this size for these reasons.

Remember that 225 vs 235 tire width is only a 0.4" difference so I dont see any issues. For more info on tire sizes check out the legendary Miata Tire Calculator or another site like 1010tires or Tirerack. The latter two have info on wheel offsets too.

Good luck!

Those rims are only 7.5" wide (same as stock for SLs); even with a -5mm adjustment to offset, you won't rub. Additionally, a 5mm change in offset should not significantly affect hub longevity.

Happy wheel hunting!
