(94 Q45)

Hi all,

Nasty hail storm last week. The thin metal on the outside of the took the worst of it.

How can I remove and replace (or pound out or whatever) just the thin metal outside skin without taking apart the entire sun roof and headliner?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

- John

Yes, you can. It's very expensive for a new one. If you don't repair yours, then consider buying a used one. Here's an illustration to help you:

Thanks. It is not quite clear how to get to the 76270D nuts that hold on the skin, but I'll take a crack at it tonight.
