So I am slowly getting through my first try at fixing my head gasket. I know that technically speaking I shouldn't re-use my head studs but i'm cheap and I was wondering if anyone could give me their personal experiences on re-using head studs.

Don't do it, it will be a complete waste of your time for doing anything. Replace them.

No. They are worn and stretched. If you put them back on, you could break the stud into the head/block causing all sorts of nightmares. Stock studs are cheap. Make sure you get the assembly lube with them if required. I don't remember if you install them wet or dry for stock studs. Refer to manual.
