Hey there, I was wondering if anyone could solve this mystery for me. Can I transer my diesel engine (2.2 liter I believe) to the same year truck but the 4x4 model? I know everything diesel is so much harder to find and configure. So, is this worth bothering with for a badass unique truck? I think so, but is it possible? That is my question.

Welcome to NICO. I'm afraid I can't help regarding the swap other than generally thinking it'd require the entire engine mounting and fuel system to be switched out (engine mounts, potentially bell housing, all fuel lines, gas tank, fuel pump, etc.).

I did it not a 4x4 though it is in a 1968 520.
