I want to put 22s on my pathfinder but I've had several people tell me not to for various reasons...are they just hatin on the deuces or is it really not a good idea?

Thanks!!!

Other than deuces looking douchey...

You can do anything with enough time and money. I've seen someone put 24's on a pathy. It entails quite a bit of work though. You have to make sure you get your backspacing correct and you may need to trim so there's no rubbing, etc. Also depends on how low of a low-profile tire you get.

The main issue is you'll need to upgrade your brakes as all that metal will make for a heavy tire.

So long as you stick to a 265/35R22 tire you should be fine with the stock suspension. Anything bigger and you may get rubbing.

Stock brakes will be fine so long as you don't drive it like a sports car. My 22's weigh a couple pounds less than the stock rims.

personally i would go with 24's if the truck doesn't have to be lifted, even 22's look small on the pathy, but as an everyday car 22's r fine haven't seen the profile for 24's yet so can really say, it makes a big difference over the stock rims and tires though, feels more stable on the road not as much body roll

like WINNIPEGS_MOST_WANTED said as long as you go with 265-35-22 you'll be fine ...
