can i pass smog with this problem?

somewhere in the back of my fuel tank, there's a crack that i haven't located which causes me only fill up half way at the pump. is that in anyway going to stop me from passing smog? i need to get a smog check tomorrow asap

If there is a crack in your fuel tank i think smog should be the least of your worries.. but if that fuel is just leaking out and not being burned it shouldnt really effect your smog test... but dont quote me on that, there isnt smog testing here in florida so i not 100%

i really doubt it the only thing they check out the gas is the gas cap pressure so dont mind it

240 GODS I NEED YOUR HELP!! i didn't pass smog it had to deal with a problem when they were checking the fuel stuff through the gas cap. so i went to a mechanic, he patched up the leak i was having in my tank, buuut he also found out that i have a poor catalytic converter. the temp before the cat was mega high, and the tube right after it was mega low. he said i can pass smog still, but how much can i rely on this?? I'm HELLA LATE for renewing my registration!! please guys help me out to understand what can happen, like more the 50% chance of happeneing.

also, i don't know if this helps, but i've read other reviews and people have said that their NOX test PASSED at 15mph but failed at 25mph. Mine happened to be the other way around with 15 at failing and 25 at passing. Would this contribute to the answers you guys can provide me with?
