well i crunched some numbers and by the listed MPG for each engine, the 2.5 gets 60 city miles more per tank and 120 highway miles per tank more than the 3.5.
i read the threads where people talk about putting in premium vs. midgrade vs. regular gas in their 3.5 engines and really didnt get an answer on if putting in the higher grades is really necessary and better for the engine and for performance. That is the deciding factor for me because the prices between premium and regular gas is a big difference here in the Washington DC area.
I know people (and the manual) suggest you put premium in the 3.5 engine, but im not sure if its necessary. If i can put regular gas in the 3.5 then thats what ill probably go with, but if i cant, than ill probably stick with the 2.5 (which is what im leaning towards anyways)
