can I make my corner lights blinkers too?

Hey guys, theoretically speaking, if i wire my blinker harness to the corner lights (while leaving the corner light harness on too) would my corners take over as blinkers and corners? The reason I ask is I want to remove both the blinker and fog assemblies and built an assembly that will hold KC daylighters.

Just a thought, not sure if I will actually do it, but I kinda wanna know if it'll work before hand.
