hey all, I am getting a S12 200SX rust bucket with no title, but a good running motor in it. the CA18ET SOHC version. BUUUUUt...... I have a CA16DE motor with a shot bottom end left over from a Pulsar swap. so, can I ya know, just bolt on and go??? I wouldnt plan on pushing much power with this set up as I know the cranks in the SOHC version aren't as nice as the DOHC version.of course I'd have to get a DOHC turbo manifold and perhaps a thicker headgasket to lower the C/R, someone out there has to have done this before!!!

should be funMcAdam Majors

P.S. I have read that the CA16 cams are desirable for turbos because of longer duration/more lift, can any one clarify??

Save yourself the trouble and buy a CA18DET. I have an engine sitting around with no turbo, but it's for a fwd which can easily be converted to RWD. I'll sell you it for $500 and you pay for shipping.
