...that I love this forum, especially as of late. I love talking about all the issues with you guys, whether we agree or disagree or agree to disagree. I don't harbor hard feelings or grudges, I just like to talk about issues, debate my side, and learn from what other people have to say and try to see things from other POVs. I'm really impressed that we've been able to keep ourselves well within the rules and things haven't gotten too out of hand.

I second that.

Everyone has been remarkably well behaved, unlike other political forums that I've posted on.

Smocky, I try to keep everyone talking and somewhat on track. It's pretty hard when 2/3s of the posters here outrank me, (mods and admins), And, they are typically the ones that stretch the rules the most. Bless 'em and their opinions anyway.

All is well, and everyone is getting a little better at thinking and debating every day.

I have to say I also really like this forum. RN always does a good job of making me defend my side. I rather enjoy the point counterpoint arguments and we all have been forced to rethink our opinions on more than one occasion.

And I think that's the point, right there. Most of the posters in this forum are Mods and Admins.

I propose a funny joke. Take one of our Iraq-related threads, substitute the word "Japan" for "Iraq" and "2010 S-Chassis" for "Oil" and post it up in 240 Gen.

Then sit back and just watch the waves and waves of win.

So, it'd be:

"OMG GWB started a war with Japan JUST to get a 2010 S-chassis! FAIL!!!"

That IS win.

Glad you all like the forum - We weren't sure how (or if) it'd work, but I think it does. Bob does a remarkable job, and no one "pulls rank".

Hopefully it's encouraged you ALL to get more educated and more involved - My dream is for this humble website to impact people's lives (in more areas that just cars) LONG after I'm dead and forgotten.

Here's to one tiny part of that.
