Can I install a remote starter on my 2003 Infiniti G35

Hi,

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 - I use a key to start the motor and I believe it has a chip inside that's programmed to my car. With that being said, can I still put a remote starter on it even though my key has that chip? I don't want to mess up anything on my car, so I wanted to reach out and ask before I look into getting it done.

Remote starter kits usually have the available parts to use with an immobilizer system, and that usually involves taking the chip out of the key and relocating it to a box near the ignition.

I was reading up on something called an evo one - have you heard of it? Is that the bypass, or the remote starter kit? It said that it uses data instead of the key - is that the same as taking out the chip?

Looks like that's the name of a complete system, though I'm not sure.
As I understand it, modules like that will take the signal sent out by the chip and emulate it when the system is starting the car, so that you don't need it the chip itself.
