I noticed that the stock radio can control a CD changer. Does that mean I could, instead, have the audio input that would be coming from a CD changer come from my MP3 Player? I have the stock cd player radio. I've noticed some people talking about this when I did a search, but no details. How difficult would this be? I do know how to use a soldering iron well and I'm sure I could understand a wiring diagram. Should this be in a different forum?

There are some adapters that allow you to play "Aux-In" via the CD changer input, but not all support it. Try doing a search (google - aux in 240sx) or go by a few "stereo shops" and see if they have any suggestions, just ask, you don't have to buy anything fromt hem.

This is the right sub-forum .

They way i would do that is to get an fm modulator. they're usually about 15 bucks or so and you just tune your radio to an unused station and it will play through your system, and you don't have to plug anything in except for the fm modulator to the mp3 player.

Does it have rca inputs? If it does, then you can just go to radio shack and buy a 1/8th jack to rca cable. If you do buy a FM modulator, get the one made by Monster. Its around $50, but it works very well. Never heard any static with it.

If you are trying to connect an iPod to your car, google iPod2car. Its pricey though.

No stock Nissan/Infiniti head units came with RCA's, but there are some adapters that allow you to convert the CD changer input into RCA jacks.

Oh okay. I've never seen those adapters before. So you can just buy the adapter so you can convert the CD changer to RCA inputs then get the 1/8th to RCA output

+ + MP3 Player

All of you people ROCK! I tried looking at the service manual and it really had none of this information. Thank you, I will soon have access to my ipod in my car and my drives will be much more enjoyable. Thank you!
