Um, ok. any details as to what it is? Because looking at the pic it seems you just put maybe a 6 inch driver in the back of your seat and have a small amp hooked to it.

Im assuming you built a box inside the seat cushion.

not tryin to knock you, just want details man! :)

Close on the size - its actually a 5 x 7. That's the max you can mount there (with a very narrow bezel !), and retain the functionality of the back seat (being able to fold it back (a design challenge !))

The speaker is mounted to the metal backing structure (cut out to match the speaker dimensions) with the speaker pressing against the seat cushion (the cushion is molded directly to the backing structure). I ported the bezel (2 holes on each side of the bezel) to gain some bass response in lieu of building a box, as there was definitely no room, and foam kills bass response. With the seat up, you would not know the speaker was there.

Yes, the amp is small, but you don't need a lot for that speaker size, and it had to fit in a small area. Considering all of the gear is out of the way (more of a "stock" look that I was going for), it adds much needed bass to my overall post-Bose audio system (5x7 tri-axials all around w/ aftermarket head).

As I said to EPN, its an improvement.
Will it go up against 10"s-in-a-box ? No.
Then again, you won't have any storage space if you go that route.
Depends what you're looking for...........

Good question, NLZ32 !

ALSO, there's a spare tire/tools/other gear down there somewhere (that you may need sometime! - you can actually see some of it earlier in this post!)

Why I "toned" it down a little.........
