finally got my CA up and running. It's basically entirely stock, minus a GTiR T28 and a cone filter. I was running ~9-10 psi for a day until i installed a different hot pipe w/ a BOV attached, and for one reason or another it lowered my boost to 6-7psi. I just searched and saw that stock boost was 7psi, and that people don't recommend pushing the stock turbo/intercooler/injectors past 10psi, while others were saying 12. Naturally, 10psi is more enticing, but if it means blowing up my motor or anything that would otherwise harm my investment, i'll hold off until i can upgrade. Thanks for the input.

10 psi is fine by me. That's what i ran stock. Also ,check your connections around the new hot pipe and such to make sure its all good and tight. Could be that the pressure is just leaking off somewhere.

The hot and cold pipes are referring to the pipes going to the intercooler. The one from the turbo to the intercooler is the hot one and the one from the intercooler to the throttle body is the cold one.

I always thought 7psi was stock...but i dunno.

Stock boost is between 5-7psi! 12 psi of boost won't hurt the engine, but your fuel system is out of gas at this point. With the Gtir's T28, your car will be a bit more efficient and can run 12psi safely.

My T2small is running at 9. I don't know why, it just does. I haven't touched it.
