I am car shoppping and I am thinking about getting the 2002 sentra. I have some questions first though performance wise. What is the best size of 17" rims/tires that I can put on? Will 215/45/17 work? Where can I get some good ground effects/body kits? Is there currently a supercharger kit for it and how much and what are the specifications for it?

OK, well yes you can fit 215/45/17 on a B15. I have to go look at my stockers on the Spec but i am pretty sure they are 205/45/17. Either way I have 215/35/18 on mine now and they are fine even after lowering so...

As for superchargers, I am not aware of any for any B15 model with the exception of the Area51 s/c on the Street COncepts Spec V but it has not been released to teh public and has not been tuned to my understanding but Turbo did put up numbers of ~205whp at really low boost.

Turbo kits are being developed by Travis for damn near every model designation of the B15 whether it be GXE, SE-R, or SE. I know the setup on the SE is done cause he was running it on his SE before the engine blew (wastegate focked up and boost spiked).

As far as body kits go, there aren't a whole bunch of kits as say the Honda Civic but there are some like Aeroduo, Erebuni, VIS (in the works), Stillen, and JT Autobody. There is one other one but it is really ugly and you wouldn't want it anyways hehe.

I hope that helps out a bit man.

Damn Cory you are a pleather of information! ;) HEHE . The Spec-V is Nissans factory racer in the sentra class with lots of go-fast/handeling goodies! Mine is mostly stock and is very fun. I do recommond a muffler right away though. CAI will be my next add-on |cant wait!| Nissan's Rock!

Actually the stock tire size for the Spec V is 215/45 R17. They are the same exact size as the Lexus IS300 and the Ford Focus SVT. I believe the SE-R (non Spec V) comes with 16" Firestones (crap).

Well let me tell you the Contisport Continentals aren;t the greatest either and that is what comes on the Spec Vs 17" rollers.

What do you want for a 17K car? To me this are pretty decent tires. Obviously they are the best, but they can't be too bad cause the Focus SVT has the same tire.

I may go with the Bridgestone S-03's next. A bit pricey but definately one of the best tires out there for our car. I'm also considering the Kuhmo MX. I've only got 15K on my car so I won't need tires for quite awhile. I just don't want anything that will last too long, otherwise they get hard regardless of treadwear.

Well since I am used to roling around on better tires I did not like the Contis. Yeah, they might be alright for a stock car but mine didn't stay stock for long and I was having major wheel spinning problems in 1st with the Contis on. However, I do run with them at the track go figure.

I have got Falken FK451 on my car now and I like tehm quite a bit and tehy are also on my Stanza. They are very similar to the Toyo Proxes T1-Ss which is what I had on the Stanza previously only the Falkens don't cost as much.
