Don't lower a Z 2 inches. That will be the quick demise of your entire suspension setup. 1.2" or less is plenty. Z's have very little wheel gap to start with.
Also, buy a black one to start with if that's what you want. They're super common, a repainted car is never as nice as one that's the original color. Not to mention it wouldn't match under the hood.
As for wheels, make sure you get something wide enough. I've seen so many people slap like 7 or 8" wide wheels on a Z. Definately not the right choice. Get atleast 9" wide in the rear. Also remember, that any wheel can be painted or powdercoated black and have the lip polished.
