Can I get an opinion on wheels?

since im selling my Z ([email protected] if interested) i need to start looking for a good looking wheel for a 300zx becasue im gonna prolly get another 300....im thinking paint the car black...lower it about 2 inches at most and but 18in black wheels with a polished lip or bronze or gold 18in wheels but i dont know....could someone give me there opinion on what they think would look good on a black 300zx, pics would be great too. thanks.

I think the Volk Challenges in 18s or 19s would look pimp in either gunmetal or gloss black with the polished lip.

If you pay 2g's for wheels, you wont be getting an extra 2g's for the car, I promise. Just sell the dam thing, I thought you were going to get rid of it like 2 months ago.

Don't lower a Z 2 inches. That will be the quick demise of your entire suspension setup. 1.2" or less is plenty. Z's have very little wheel gap to start with.

Also, buy a black one to start with if that's what you want. They're super common, a repainted car is never as nice as one that's the original color. Not to mention it wouldn't match under the hood.

As for wheels, make sure you get something wide enough. I've seen so many people slap like 7 or 8" wide wheels on a Z. Definately not the right choice. Get atleast 9" wide in the rear. Also remember, that any wheel can be painted or powdercoated black and have the lip polished.

Yeah smaller like 7-8 on the back of a Z looks funny. Jerry's car is a awesome example of what kind of wheels to have, something rare and with some dish.

yeah i heard all about the width thing....and thanks for the pics guys...i have a Z32 but im selling it for 3500 bucks because the one i got has problems...and i spent 1300 bucks tryin to fix it but it still have a problem about the steering wheel thing (read post: IM MAD) and im only selling it for 3500 bucks. thanks again tho guys.
