I just came back from Advance Discount Auto Parts empty handed. Apparently, the belt they recommend for the Water Pump, Fan, and Power Steering is a 5030390. I have tried for several hours, but I am unable to get this belt installed around the pulleys. I checked it against the old belt and it's quite a bit shorter. Interestingly, NAPA recommends the 5030395, which I assume is a slightly longer belt.

We went through almost every year of the S14 and every variant, and in each case, ADAP specifies the short belt for this application. The guy there was helpful, but ultimately useless in getting the job done.

The belt I tried was also Dayco, I didn't bother trying the Drive-right brand, I'll just go elsewhere.

Any idea what the *proper* belt size should be for the power steering?
