Most of you have seen pics of this car, no, this machine, and several of you socal people have met it's owner, Richard Tang in real life. Well, the car... shes been hurt. I don't know all the details yet, but it looks like he went into a ditch. I'll try to get some info out of Wayne this weekend.

are those akimotor tension rods? The thing didnt bend at all under that pressure, it snapped.. but it didnt deform.. good part.

they were Kazama tension rods i think.he just was going to fast i guess and hit the littel island/curb/thing in the parking lot and then hit the lamp post.

The car was damaged during a drift event in Vegas. Apparently, he drifted wide, couldn't tighten his line in time and curbed it. From what I heard the curb was a fairly safe distance away. But he may have gotten a little overzealous.

Funny story to go along with it. The car was towed out to the event. On the way back, on the same tow truck, apparently the tow truck ran out of gas. The driver of the truck ended up cutting the fuel line to Richard's wrecked car, turned the key to activate the fuel pump and pumped gas into the tow truck. Who needs AAA? Just tow a car full of gas around.
