Can I fit a VE head onto my DE block?

A buddy of mine had bought a G20 with a VE swap in it.......He just wanted it as a daily driver so he left it completely stock.......last week he blew out the bottom end and he wants to scrap it out.......I want to know if i can fit the VE head onto my DE block and will it work?

it will work, it has been done ( mazworks). it has been talked about here and on zilvia. look it up using the search button. hope this helps you out.

Yeah, VE heads on DE's work and rock! I'd hit up Google too to try to find a write-up. I know I read through one somewhere.

That's cool. So It's just drop and go.....I don't really have to do any modifying? I bought it just incase but I didn't want to attempt the swap just incase it took some crazy work to put it in.

There's something about extra oil feed for the VE head. I don't remember the specifics and where I read the guide though, otherwise I'd link you to it.
