Can I fit a transmission in my s14 trunk?

It's a 3hr drive and I'd hate to get there only to find out it won't fit. I'd take a truck but the only one I have access to does ~12mpg

my first guess would be to say no, but get a tape measure

dunno boute a s14 but i bought my car wit the auto and manual transmission in the back. no wonder y my springs r shot.

should have bought a hatch and there would have not been a doubt. You should take the carpet out and sit the trans with the tait shaft slightly higher so it won't leak out. Reminds me when I had to pick up a mini fridge for a friend bacause it wouldn't fit in a S14.
