Keep in mind that speedo inaccuracy is not linear. It's a percentage. The discrepancy increases as speed increases. A 3.5% difference is under 1mph off at 25mph, and 2.5 mph off at 70mph.With my short-geared rear end, I have a discrepancy of about 4mph at 25mph, but at 70 it shoots up to 10!

205-60-15 would be a better choice as they are very very close to the stock 185-65's rolling diameter.

Yes. And those speed sensors (actually, it's singular sensor) use rotational speed from the transmission output shaft to determine speed. So if you have tires with smaller-than-stock rolling diameter, the speedo will read high. Taller tires will read low.
