Well I'm not sure what wheels you're trying to fit up, but the answer is yes, you can fit 18" wheels on your Versa. In fact, there are a few people on the forum who already have 18s. Most people are running about a +40 mm offset with 18" x 7.5" wheels and 215 or 225 width tires.

Check out Dopey's Versa using this link:

zerothread?id=302175

Or check out M2Motoring's Versa here in the Gallery, I believe he is running a +37mm offset so the wheels are very flush:

Both of these cars are lowered without any problems. I believe Dopey has mentioned that his tires rub very slightly when his steering wheel is turned all the way, but that it's not a problem.

oops... I need to correct myself from my previous post - Dopey's car is a Tiida, not a Versa.

That black one with the chrome wheels is a Tiida not a Versa. It's right hand drive for starters......... and the lights are the factory option projector hid xenon items.

Overseas, the Tiida is available with an automatic climate control system. That's what you're seeing.

yes, i know this. but did you read the top of his page? unless he has both a Tiida AND a Versa AND apparently changed one of them to US spec lights and such, you should get what i'm talking about...

He did change his lights to US spec. Read his page.

It's a Tiida - Not a Versa, that's all I'm saying

I'm just curious if jumping to a bigger wheel size will affect the correct mileage readings slightly or significantly?

To alot of Japanese, Americans and "Americana" is cool - so changing his car to look like a USDM item would be considered cool to a Jap, same as changing your Versa over to JDM Tiida spec would probably be considered cool by Americans.

Thanks a lot for the link. So that basically means: the bigger the tires are (in comparison the stock tire sizes), the higher the probability is to get caught by the cops for overspeeding
