I have a quick question...I'm missing the slip on washer thing that slips over the hardline (like 2 washers with a metal piece that connects them together) Could I find this at the dealership/local parts store? If I can do you guys know the right name/sizing for our application? I have the bolts but no slip on washer thingie...and i heard you need crush washers too?? It's setting me back a lot!

You can just go to Lowe's or Home Depot and pick up two copper washers for like .50 You won't have the nifty metal connecter, but that's a luxury IMO

If you don't have copper washers on there, you will leak coolant and oil at those bolts.

is there an actual reason for the little metal connection between the two washers?

It's there to make it a little easier to install the washers. It's only job is to keep the one on the block side of the fitting from falling off and frustrating you. Other than that it has no purpose. Nissan didn't use the bracketed copper washers on my motor.

I wish I knew about those bracketed washers before I pulled my manifold a few times. Would have saved me a couple hours of reaching under the manifold and trying to put the banjo bolt and washers on with one hand.
