can i eliminate these two hoses?

hello, so in my ghettorigged short ram intake i have these two hoses (in the center of the screen coming off the 45 degree home depot elbow



where do these go and what are they for?

the 1 that connects to the elbow and the 1 that comes from the valve cover?, you could take out the 1 from the valve cover and put a catch can or breather, but the other 1 you can't because that 1 controls the idle.

the other 1 i believe comes off 1 of the 3 vacuum lines(2 go to the other side of the engine, the other 1 goes to the charcoal canister), you can cap that 1 off.(going to the elbow, not the whatever else it goes to)
