I am turbocharging my Ka-T this long weekendIf I out everything togetherT3/T4 .48A/Rwith 7psi wastegate spring.

I am using the AEM FIC for tuning.Am I able to put a rough blind tune on the car with my narrowband gauge? The shop is 8 miles away where it will be dyno tuned with a wideband.

If I add 20% throughout the rpmretard timing 2 degreescolder plugsand drive real soft to the shop will I be alright

Or bite the bullet and get a tow

You didn't say if your changing the injectors or not, but if you are change the setting to compensate for the new ones. Then you could just take the actuator off the waste gate so you don't build boost, and drive it easy over there.

I know a lot of people that do it.

you may stall a few times, but its plausable.

try down the street in front of your house first. and then try elsewhere.

You're adding 20%? If you increase the size of the fuel injector shouldn't you be decreasing the flow 20%?

Look at the narrow band, take away as much fuel as it takes to get the car to run near stoich. Then whatever % you took away for the car to idle, add 15% to that for when the motor is under load.

Retard the base timing some just for safety. If it drives around the block you're ok. Change the oil when you get to where you're going.
