Do you really want to get pulled over multiple times a day, getting harassed, questioned, and fined each time?States+Skyline=FNF following you to your house aswell.

Under the US. Customs Guidelines, you can have the car here for no more than 365 days for personal use.

The car must leave the country for 48 hours after or before this 365 days, the periods of time do not overlap.

You should be the registered owner of the vehicle, or a resident of the same country in which it is registered.

DOT also has to allow vehicles from panama on its roads (look up DOT regs).

Most states (such as cali) require you to register your vehicle after 30 days of residency fyi.

You should carry US motorist coverage.

You should carry an IDL (international or "world" drivers license)

With all that in order, you should be happy as a clam.

I drive my R33 every day and I have never once been pulled over. Even with extremely dark tint all the way around, even the front windshield!!
