I was told that i needed to run a hose from the pipe that is circled red to the intercooler pipe right before the intake. Is that true? I was just wondering if i could cap it off if it is true. Reason being is i for one can weld aluminum and i cant seem to be able to find anyone that can weld a nipple on my intercooler pipe so i could hook a hose to it. If i can that would be great!!! thanks in advance for the answers guys.

u dont "need" to have it hooked up..mine is disconected and all blocked off..u just have to adjust the idle via the throttle body instead of on the idle controller

car may idle like crap depending on your setup...best to have a nipple welded onto the ic piping and route as intended.

if u take both idle controllers off it idles fine if u adjst idle speed on throttle body..u just loose the whole purpose of the iacv (idle air control valve wich is what make the cold idle / auto choke work if u call it that) and u loose the function of the aac valve (auxillary air valve which ups the idle speed wen u use lights,fan,a/c etc etc)...
