Can go wrong, went wrong

Well Iam posting this in 240: General Chat and Now here cause I need as many views as possible. I went today to try and work on my car, the internal timing was off, well what could go wrong went wrong. My front cover breaks at the bottom, the bottom left edge broke off. My head gasket part right next to the chain was broke in half. I busted my knuckles and fingers open pretty good, my blood is still on the crank. This car has my blood sweat and $$, what else could it want!!!!

Ok, now to my questions. Can I still use my front cover? Could I solder/seal up that piece where it broke off. Seal/solder it real good? Also where my head gasket broke, will I have to worry about that? Its not near the cylinders and stuff, on the outside of that, next to the timing gear.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Today has not been good
