Can factory comp adjust for larger fuel injectors?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

If I install fuel injectors with a 10-20% larger flow will the oxygen sensor see the unburned gas and have the computer shorten the injector pulse so it doesn't run rich?

Thanks to anyone who knows this answer, Travis

am pretty sure it doesn't, thats why most people buy some sort of fuel management.(SAFC, E-manage, standalone...etc)

If the injectors are larger, down at idle and low rpm cruise the feedback control will "try" to compensate to provide 14.7 afr. Problem is this self learning closed loop of the ecu is poor at best. During open loop the ecu will feed those injectors with the same pulsewidths as the stock injectors and run rich. You need to adjust for the injectors properly via the ecu.

eww dont get a safc. go to http://www.zcontrol.com and read the ecu tuning forums for 240sx's and disregard the sr20 specific stuff... also go to http://www.bikirom.com and get the new megabikirom when it comes out ~$190 (well worth it seeing how its you can make custom fuel maps and upload via USB), best engine managment, via usb... all you have to do is change the "K" constant to compensate... thats assuming you have an s14... the megabikirom will work for the s13 or s14 KA, if you wanted to and you have a s13 you could get the old bikirom board or get a plms board for the sr20 and change the "k" constant, those are cheaper and will run you ~$80, but you need a eeprom burner, or a 3c905b ethernet card (google search "linux 1g dsm") but this isnt done very often... hope this info has helped our new nico member of 1 post ;-)
