You can use just about any turbo you want to acheive that goal. T3/t4 will give you tht power at around 7psi. Top of this thread there is a sticky with links to member's KA-T's it will have their setups and power.

I've got a T3/TO4E 50 trim factory rebuild I'm willing to part with. Still has the Garrett tag on it.

$400 takes it.

buying a used 20 year old turbo just isn't a smart move. I made the mistake.

I would never suggest running such an old turbo if it weren't rebuilt somewhat recently. I got a hold of one for $100 with about 3.5k on the rebuild (supposedly). But of course this was back in the day when not every ricer in the world was trading in his Honda for jdm dori pwnage.

Do you have pictures? What kind of condition is it in really? Shaft play, etc?It comes with waste gate right? I might trade my T3/T04E if you sweeten the deal a little.

Toki, that's weak, it's cool to be a naysayer. No, I mean that. The 20 year old T3 from the Z31 is effectively the same as a modern T3 using journal bearings. Plus, it's a Garrett. So, it seems to me that your arguement of it being 20 years old just stems from your head being up your ***. As I have told you before S13 the Z31 is good. You can also use any Saab, Ford, Chrysler, or GM T3, if you need a cheap one. Search for an SVO mustang turbo, or Grand Prix turbo, or any 900 or 9000 turbo. But a T25 should be fine too. I still don't think you understand how easy it is to rebuild and hybridize one of these things. You should think hard about a hybrid. They are inexpensive, easily made, and do things that no one of them could do alone.

okay but a t3/t4 hybrid like i say is out of my ball-park maybe in 2 or 3 years i'll get one when i rebuild the block. but now i just want a cheap turbo, damn! but I can't get a cheap turbo now, because my clutch died, and all my money saved up for a cheap turbo is gone now due to buying a new clutch kit.

yes, but you can upgrade a T3 when you get there. Like I have suggested before, for what you want, I would think about making yourself a little T28, and then you would have your T3. With diligent tuning you could make your goal with relatively low boost. I don't think you will come in quite as low as you would like though, without the larger turbo. But a T28 would be a good starter. Also, for a cheap mini-upgraded clutch, you can use one from a 73 240z, it's clamping force is greater by about 60lbs (and cheaper than stock). You could use it with a turbo for a little while, but expect it to burn like a stocker when you get to 230HP.
