Can I Increase Chime Volume For The Lane Departure Warning?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I was wondering if there is a way to increase the volume for the lane departure warning chime on my 2017 QX50. It works fine but I can barely hear it, especially if the radio was on. Is it something only the dealer can program?

I'm not finding anything in any of the documentation. I'll keep searching, and meanwhile, hope someone else will "chime" in. :)

As far as I know, the chime volume is not adjustable, not on the consumer end anyway. Also I doubt the local dealership would be able to adjust either, as the best volume level was determined and encoded by the engineers that designed the system. Your best option would be to go to the dealership and check the volume on similar cars on their lot. If there is a difference and they are louder, there's a possibility that yours has malfunctioned.

Good suggestion. Only problem is very few dealerships have the QX50 with the tech package to make a comparison. I wonder if the Q50 uses the same system? . I'll check it out at my next oil change. Thanks Rogue One for the info.
