I have a couple of issues. I called a couple of dealerships in the USA and they refused to even talk with me after they recognized I wasn't American. Only one guy gave me a response and he said that Canadians cant buy new cars from the USA. Why is this?
Anyway my real issue is that I have been going through the auto trader and it looks like I can buy a late model g35 coupe or even a g37 coupe for the same money I would spend here for an older model g35. I have done some reading and there is some confusing information about importing.
How would I go about buying a used car from the USA and bringing it over the border to Canada?
Are there companies that ship cars from the USA to Canada so I don't have to deal with the hassle of driving to where the car is?
Are warranties void once a USA car is brought to Canada or would the corresponding dealership here honor it?

I've seen some post here about problems doing that. Problems like having to add daylight running lights to a G, etc. I think the answer is yes, if you can make them meet Canadian standards. Sean?
And you can call these guys, a friend of mine is currently dealing with them. Ask for a guy named Spartacus and tell him Richard from Fitnique reffered you

Also, if you find it's too much hassle then what it's worth and you are going to purchase from a dealership here. Let me know and I'll give you the number to my contact. I have used him myself for 3 cars and referred my family and a few friends. He's a solid guy.
