My power steering fluid is leaking right at the end of the banjo bolt. Like 1 drop/sec while running. Went to tighten it and it's on there good.

Is there some sort of sealing device on these things? I took it off once to replace the ka and didn't look at it.

There should be one washer on each side of the banjo. Sounds like one of the washers is screwed up or missing.

I'll check it out when it gets warm again. Do you think I can use any old washer?

I think it's recommended to replace them whenever the bolt is removed and replaced. That said I definitely reused the same washers when I replaced my PS hose a while back with no issues so far after 20k miles.

Edit: Misread your post. These are a little different than normal washers. They're called crush washers and usually made out of some soft metal (usually aluminum or copper iirc) so that they squash when the bolt is torqued. Auto parts stores usually carry them.
