how do u have ur bov set up. like on a soft setting. or one spring in like the jay whitely way. because i did it the other day. i left the inner spring in only and set it to the valve opening at -10. and then drove it like that with only the one spring in, but it sounded like i didnt have a bov at all. like it was open all the time. i could hold boost but my buddy told me that he doesnt think that would be right. he said if ur taking out one of ur springs out thats gonna leave the valve pretty much open all the time and make ur turbo work twice as hard. is this true?

I still have both springs and I set it closer to hard

Remove the inner spring. Apply a vaccum pump on the nipple to -10 in.hg. Adjust the screw until the valve is fully open. I recommend giving a full HARD turn.

Removing the second spring is to make the bov open and react faster. Second spring is to prevent boost leakage under high extreme boost.

well i recirculated it with both springs in and have it set soft. i get flutter between 1-7 psi. anything after i get a dump wich is good but it sounds different. other than its more quiet. it sounds more like the type s. when i was atmospheric it was more of a flutter then a pshhh now it is only one flutter then a pzzzzu. lol any ways. like im really confused. do i really need to recirc it. it sounds better when it atmospheric obviously but my air fuels are fine when its like that, it just back fires and stalls on ocasions if i decide to stomp on it and stop. it doesnt do it when im recirced but my air fuels are different. tell me whats better

The only difference in afr is when u let off the gas pedal. While cruising 25mph about 16.0 afr on light throttle when u let off Recirc - 12.5-10.6-Atmo- less than 10.0. Exhaust goes boom then the car stall out.
