ive had a first gen and that looks somewhat close, except on the HKS BOV the front is closed off and its a recirculating BOV.

I have the same BOV as you. let me ask you were did you connect the back hose of the BOV to? and does youre BOV open all the time because mine only opens after I hit full boost (in other words it dont open unless I hit the full 7psi, any thing under 7psi wont open it.) And isnt that just a HKS super BOV not the super sequential BOV

First of all, thank you for your response. Now i have another question. What is a recirculating BOV?...also I notice that you have two nipples connected on your BOV, what is the back one connected to?

when you let off the throttle (ie between shifts), the throttle plate is suddenly closed and the boost needs a place to go. instead of forcefully going into the turbo and slowing the compressor down (boost surge), it goes out the BOV.

now a non recirculating BOV (ie HKS SSQV) just vents the boost to the atmosphere. a recirculating BOV recirculates the boost back into the intake charge.

i got rid of that BOV, but if i remember correctly, i teed both of them into the larger of the two lines, and off into a ported vacuum source (before the throttle plate).

and it only opens under mild-full boost. anything under that is just wastegate flutter.
