can anyone take a guess at what kind of exhaust this is?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

Sounds like a Tial 50mm to me... by the even discharge sound with no flutter that hints TiAl to me all the way... I'd like to know he's mods too!

Who knows, its prolly not apexi, its prolly larger than 3 inch. You need to understand the sound of an RB motor will not vary much between exhaust systems, less mufflers less sound... 1 or zero mufflers louder sound. No matter what its hard as hell to ugly up the sound of an RB. That video is so old, I doubt the owner still has that car.

I don't know what he's been doing lately but I just sold him a set of used RB26 pistons last fall. Look through the archived files for his threads and posts. Fito was one of the earliest RB25 swappers and still lives in P.R.

For the record, that is one of my favorite dyno tuning videos. Very inspirational.

That doesnt sound much like the Tial, its more of a higher pitched, different sound.

I thought it was Apexi GT-Spec, but further research from fito says :-3in down pipe and 3in exhaust (no cat.)This is a 3in. stainless steal exhaust with a titanium muffler from Top Speed in Texas (http://www.topspeedauto.com)
