Can anyone identify this part?

Hi I have a 2001 pathfinder le. I have a brake fluid leak that is coming from the block behind the could spring on the front passenger side. It has two hard lines going into it. I have looked all day for the correct name for it online and cNt find anything. Does anyone know the exact name for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've took a pic of a Pathfinder front end that might show what you are looking at.

I can't post a picture from my phone on here for some reason. But it's not shown in the picture you posted. It is about half way up the coil spring. Directly behind it. It's about 2 inches by 2 inches and square. I think it's a block but still haven't found anything on it. It has 2 hard lines coming out of the left side going toward the rear of the car but only a few inches of the lines are visible. I don't have a PC so I don't think I'll be able to post a pic. But if you message me an email I can send it to you. Thanks for your help.

Posting a pic is not that hard once you get the hang of it.
You need to upload your pic to a host site like photobucket.com, or equivalent.
From there you just copy and paste the IMG link in here.
I don't have a better pic of the strut or spring unfortunately.
You may have to go to a dealer for the part, unless there's a good Pathy or QX4 in your local junkyard.

Hey thanks for the help. Here's the pic. Hopefully it works. http://s1291.photobucket.com/user/Jdtbo ... 3.jpg.html after some help last night I figured out that it's not the block that is leaking. On the other side of the block, which is under the hood on the inside of the wheel well it has two hard lines going into it. The bottom line is leaking. But I still couldn't find the block or line in the diagrams that you shared with me.
