Can anyone ID this part? Brake system dampener, or what?

Is there a brake system dampener or am I comfusing something else with it? Here's a pic to look at, but I dont know if I am crazy or what. Tell me your thoughts...

It appears to just be some sort of distribution line. It looks like it connects the hard line to another hard line.

yes that is the brake dampener if you do a search on it you can remove it. you get a better brake feel.

editbe very careful when bending the hard line you don't want to break it.

Are you talking about the clutch dampener?

i didn't know there was a clutch dampener. where is it?

*edit*you know what you are 100% right. that is the clutch dampener. gives you a better clutch feel. my bad its been a couple years since I took it off.

it's just a junction block so the manufacturer wouldn't have to make a long @$$ steel line from da massa cylinder -->all the way back to the rear brake hydraulics...
