well im in the process of doing a 5 speed swap on a vert and want to keep everthing stock as if it came from factory with a 5 speed....So i got this ecu for $50 on cl but cant determine if its for a ka24de or ka24e or if its a auto or manual ecu.... I HAVE USED THE SEARCH and read the jwt ecu identification chart and my ecu numbers arent listed. the number is 15 and below that it reads A11-B14 G59. The guy i got it from says its from a ka24de with manual trans, but u never know if sellers on craigslist really tell the truth and now i jus want to verify this ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS

just checked ebay (which you should have done first :P).

ECU #15 is for an 89 240sx.

I did my swap 4 days ago. I tried both auto and maunal ECUs and I can't tell the difference. What's the major difference? Both idle same and react same when I shift. Should I feel the difference? I don't think having manual ECU is not that critical, so OP if you are not so sure then pass this one and you can find the right one later.

idle should be a lil bit diff (auto is lower). One of them runs a lil bit richer, forgot which one off the top of my head.

No major differences when used in a Manual. You could search the forums if you require more in depth than that - it's been covered a few times.
