i jus bought a 240sx and swaped an rb25 into it for my graduation project.. i need help on what i need for the turbo to work.. i need a top or low mount manifold with an external wastegate.. but is the top mount downpipe going to be long enough for my t70 turbo..people told me to weld it to make longer but i feel that theres an easyier way..all the low mount manifold that i looked at dont have an external wastegate adapter..what should i dooooo?? im new to this so can someone please help me out?

Odds are that you won't get a low mount to fit with the crossmember and mounts in an S-chassis. See how easy that makes this decision? And yes you're going to have fabrication work to do with any turbo and manifold upgrade. Git 'er done!

If your using a R33 X-member then check out the HKS low mount manifold.But...... if your gonna be using a T70 I dunno if that's gonna fit....

and then just weld a pipe to the downpipe to make it longer??

You might have to cut the existing down pipe and get a piece welded in that fits around the steering shaft. It all depends on the final placement of the turbo so no one can say exactly how much you have to add/modify.

Just buy it, install everything and see where you need to modify the down pipe to get it to line up.
