I was just wondering, all i have done is intake, electric fan, and now a six puck clutch set up from act and the car is damn fast compared to when I bought it. The clutch is the best mod I have ever done to any of my cars. Wish I would of known that before. Well I also got the lightened fly wheel, but I mean its a huge difference...:ylsuper

Why would you want to? Unless you want to see what your transmission gears lool like when it's in pieces....

Well actually, if it does break, I'll just fix it. Isn't that what having a fast fun car is all about? Trial and error. Having fun and fixing it when you break it? And besides with this clutch set up I put in it, you don't even really have to try. It just happens when you shift at about 95-97 mph.

When I got my clutchmasters stage I clutch I could do it, but that slowly wore off. And like C-Kwik said, it's not gonna help you any to do that, unless you want to start shearing gears. =)

yeah I know this man... I was just curious if other people had done, or can do it. Just a general question. I'm not planning on driving it like that everyday. And of coarse it won't hurt if u get let the rpms fall. well it can hurt the gear, but I would think the rear end would be hurt worse. who knows I'm not even sure of that.

Lightened fly wheel....aluminum I assume. From my experience it lets you rev quicker (obviously) but you loose the some down low due to the drop in inertia. I'm really not sure of the effects on a 4 cylinder, but I would suspect they are similar - have to feather the clutch a bit more. I'd be interested to see if anyone has evidence one way or the other.

i noticed a big difference in rev up through the entire rpm range, low and high.

yes I love the clutch, and traffic isn't that hard, u just have to feather the gas a little bit. It is a daily driver for me currently and I drive 60 mile round trip to work everyday. But so far so good. ;)

This was an independent test, right? You felt the difference with just the flywheel change...you didn't do any other modifications at the same time. With most 8 cylinders there is a noticeable difference - quicker rev but a bit slower off the line.
