...on this list? I have a few interests, but i have only seen video clips of most of these exhausts on SR or KA-T cars, none on KA24E or KA24DE.Can anyone put these in order from quiet to loud from experience of riding in a car equiped with the exhaust or hearing them?

RS-R Ex-Mag CatbackBlitz Nur-SpecRS-R Ex-Mag GT25zigen FireballTanabe Super Medalion

Those are the ones I'm interested in. Im open to other suggestions.Any of these have good angle when its mounted? (exluding the exmag of course) Thanx

I have a 91 coupe and still a KA. I just installed a Blitz Nur-Spec catback system and I love it. It's pretty loud, but deep, but it came with a silencer, so with that in, it's only slightly louder than stock. I only put it in when I'm hitting the freeway for more than a few exits. Very bearable. I have plans to swap (SR or CA) in the future sometime, so that's one of the reasons I went with this exhaust. As for the others, here's how I would rank them based on info from the fella at jgycustoms.com (free plug!) who sold me my exhaust..

Loudest to quietest:

Tanabe Super Medallion (one piece, and no resonator)Blitz or Ex-Mag GT2 (not sure, probably pretty even)RSR ex-mag 5zigen fireball (2.5" piping)

As far as angle, I can only tell you about the Blitz. It's definitely on an angle, but from what I've seen, it's not as steep as say Apexi, I think. I can send/post pictures as soon as I take some. Hope this helped.

yeah the fireball isn't loud at all. I have the 2.5" piping and like it a lot. It kinda looks funny sticking out of the rear, but it was probably meant to have a body kit surrounding it.

Ha, I remember seeing those pictures before, I think they were one of the reasons why I went with the blitz exhaust. But yeah, that's pretty much what my exhaust looks like, except my car isn't so low!

btw, I like the color (forest green?) was that a factory color, or did you have it done in that color?

wow guys, thanx for the great responses. i'm still interested in the RS-R ex mag's sound on a KA? i know its a turbo exhaust, but i had plans to install either a stealthy looking ex mag for the turbo setup im planning on or one of the others. im just curious because the cali highway patrol pulls over cars for exhaust sounds..yea

sound clips would be helpful too

thanx agian...

btw, loving that forest greenish 240

i have the N1 dual, i love the way it sounds, its nice and deep, not too loud. i have some pics of it on my website http://www.cardomain.com/id/collk but im sure most everyone knows what that looks like. i also like it cause its different than most exhausts. theres not sidebyside duals out there for many cars.

i agree. i have n1 dual. its really a signature exhaust for apexi. if its not a genuine apexi dual n1, they probably copied them. my thumbs up for one of the best sounding exhausts for the SR. not too loud and annoying. its even cheaper to ship than the single n1 because the single n1 is a single piece. the box is long as hell. only downside to dual n1 is weight. doesnt matter to me though. looks sick when you pull up behind the car.

i heard the N1 duals are prone to rusting and ive read some topics on zilvia.net that the dual's tips fall off in some cases. have you guys run into that problem?

I've got the N1-Dual also.

Kat with no cat. It is LOUD. I just put in the silencers and now its not TOO much louder than stock.

Its only been on for about 6 months, and haven't seen any rust yet... not all that much rain, etc to deal with out in Denver though.
