Bought my 2004 M45 new and just hit 22,500. Still looks new too. I love it that not too many people even know what it is.

You lucky-Dawg! I live right near there and traveled all the way to Chicago (driving it home in the snow) to get my '04 M45! Same color, and everything... LOL

Heehee, not gonna lie, I did get lucky on this M. There was a black one in VA with 32K miles but it was too expensive and too far for me to drive. This one was a no brainer!

People think its a Charger from far away! I'm sure our M's can hang with a stock Charger LoL But Mopar fan, I am not!

By the way, has anyone done an oil change on there M yet? I'm due for my first one and I'd like to do it on my own and measure this oil consumption problem I'm having.. I can't find any links to changing the oil on the M45 anywhere in the internet...

I am not up to date on the latest with Charger's. But I took my 2004 M45 to Canada and back. On the way back it was one of those sunny, beautiful, dry days with no traffic. My M was hitting 140mph with some pedal left. I chickened out. I was getting paranoid about the law. I have yet to max that M out.

SO...bring on the Chargers. Knocked off many a 5 liter Mustang and a few 5 series BMW's with the V8. Love my M, its a true sleeper.

By the way, I know how to change the oil, just can't visually locate the oil filter.

Sleeper is correct! Can't tell you how many 4 cylinder rice burners have tried to challenge me on the road. I find it cute. One day, I'm going to embarrass one!

Hey guys! Just in case you guys don't know already, for any of yous who are having a problem with an inaccurate fuel gauge, there is a thread on this website where a BUNCH of Y34 owners are having problems with their gauges and are forced to pay $1000+ for instrument cluster replacements. See this link: zerothread?id=316682 and also: zer...nhtsa

With all the Toyota controversy, now is a great time to bring this problem to light and make Infinti pay for this widespread problem. There are so far 4 complaints, including mine I just entered, in the NHTSA database. Send your complaints and lets get a movement going. For those who haven't repaired it yet, make Infiniti pay. For those who have unfortunately paid, make them reimburse you! Here's the link to NHTSA: http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/c...s.cfm

Please tell us the story when you do. I just ran the Merritt Parkway in CT, south to north. It was humorous to knock off some of those so called power machines of all brands. Not only does the M have the hp, the thing can dive into the corners and come out strong. LOVE IT. Wish I had enough cash right now to get the M56. Its the only other car I have any interest in.
